A Letter From The Owner

A Message From The Owner Of Bravo Concealment

We know you have been waiting patiently for new gun type options. We would like to apologize for the long wait and assure you that we are constantly working around the clock to expand our holster options.
As you may already know, we have discontinued our “custom” line of gun holsters. This is largely due to the fact, that our lead times were growing larger and larger. Although, some of the “garage” holster companies may think this is a good problem to have; we do not feel that is the case. Well, initially, yes; but as a company grows larger in daily sales, so does the overhead. This can kill a company’s profit margins in the end. This is an example of why you will see some Kydex companies selling holsters for close to $100 or more! A 3-month lead time is a company’s silent killer. It’s just like having too much stock and you simply can’t move the products fast enough.
Anyway, enough of the business lesson. We have designed a new manufacturing process we call AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process). It incorporates CNC machines, CAD/CAM designs, 3D scanning and advanced engineering. All this creates the aluminum molds we use to make your holsters. Though the process is quite impressive, it is slower than simply taking a “blue gun” and squishing 2 pieces of hot Kydex to make a sub-par mold. But, with our new manufacturing process, once the mold is made, the AMP allows us to make high quality, consistent holsters at a very fast pace.
We have put all our efforts in creating a larger AMP line with more options. Again, we ask you to be patient. Ultimately, this process is made to benefit you, our customers. With AMP we will be able to offer you better prices and meet our goal of “In-Stock” holsters with same day shipping. We thank you for your patience and your business. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we have the best customers in the business. We thank you for all you’ve done and we owe it all to you.

Thanks Again,
Rene Aguirre

  • I have bought several IWB and OWB holsters from you guys, but only one since you changed your process. I have continued to revisit your site to see if you’ve added any additional gun/light combos (primary Glock/APL and Glock/APLc), but to my disappointment, you haven’t. You may (and likely do) make the best, but as you’ve seen from several of these comments, you have lost quite a lot of business because your AMP being so inflexible. I think you should have kept your custom line in addition to the AMP so you could respond to custom requests. You still state on your site, “Newsletter Sign-Up Join the Bravo email family and receive the latest custom index concealment holster news!” The only problem is, you no longer offer custom kydex holsters.

Many of us who helped you grow are disappointment. You still make a great holster, and I have always been impressed with the responsiveness by your customer service team. I do hope you broaden your line or add back the custom holster option, quickly.

    All the best,
    Karl

  • highly recommended by very good friends of mine so gave it a try and placed an order on 7/24 with expectation of 3 – 5 days shipping and to receive a shipping confirmation email. 2 days past that – and emailing them at Office@bravoconcealment.com has been no less than disappointing since they were so helpful to me and getting my money. Emailed them again today – no response. Likely calling to cancel my order and go elsewhere. Maybe someone in management might want to read this?

  • At one point you had my business. I purchased a BCA w/ light, left handed, for an FNS-9. I also purchased an SNS, also for left handed use.

Now though, your store no longer even offers left handed holsters or pouches, much less holsters for a FNS-9. I was looking to purchase a DOS w/ light, but now I am forced to take my business elsewhere.

It may be my fault for buying an ‘unpopular’ weapon.

But how is it my fault for being left handed?

  • I see many positive comments here but I also see some comments with a negative vibe. First of all, our AMP process was done for 2 main reasons.

The first is to cut our lead times. Most people are NOT willing to wait 3-4 months for a gun holster. I understand that if you run a gun that is not popular, you will have a hard time to find a gun holster. That, my friend(s) lies on YOU, not us. You decided to buy a gun that still hasn’t caught up with the general consensus of the most popular selling guns or may NEVER will. But what about those that we were loosing on a daily basis to other gun holster companies because they did have a gun that most other competitors made holsters for? Should we forget the 80% of our customers to satisfy 20%??? That my friend(s), is NOT good business.

One of Wayne Rhodes comment below is to remind me that Bravo “owes it to our customers” He is right! We do! That is why we are doing this. If you feel left out we apologize but don’t blame us for not understanding the laws of supply and demand regarding how to run a successful business. If you are willing to wait 3-4 months because you are a “passionate gun enthusiast” that is great but please understand, you are the minority.

Maybe some of you don’t understand the magnitude of Bravo Concealment. We are NOT hobbyist. We are a legitimate company with hundreds of thousands of customers. This is where the second reason for the AMP comes, which pretty much encompasses the first reason… to make a sound profit. Or, as GR commented below, “optimal profit margins” This may bug some of you who feel companies don’t care about anything other than to make a profit but profit is what keeps a company going (business 101) We can NOT serve our customers if there isn’t a Bravo Concealment to make holsters.

Thanks for listening and thanks for your comments.
