At Bravo Concealment, every product decision starts with one question: how can we make concealed carry more secure, comfortable, and dependable for the people who rely on our holsters for every day carry? Our polymer belt clips have served customers well for years, offering a lightweight, low-profile option that works. But as we listened to feedback of law enforcement and everyday carriers, a clear need emerged for something tougher—metal clips that deliver a strong and consistent retention without adding bulk or complexity.
That need led us to design our metal belt clips, made from spring steel and finished with a durable powder coating. Spring steel was chosen specifically for its ability to flex under pressure and return to its original shape, creating a positive “bite” on the belt that stays locked until you deliberately release it. Spring steel provides the tension needed to keep the holster firmly in place. This matters whether you are drawing under stress, moving through a full day of work, or training at the range. Customers who have switched to the metal clips consistently report that the holster stays put when drawing with authority.
We also designed these clips with versatility in mind. Built specifically for our IWB holsters, they work across the Torsion, BCA, and mag pouches and can convert many of our OWB holsters into a secure IWB setup. For those who prefer to go beltless, the spring steel construction is strong enough to grip clothing tightly and hold position until intentionally opened. The low-profile design keeps the overall package slim, which is critical for concealment—especially in warmer weather or with lighter clothing. Multiple mounting holes (with 0.5-inch spacing) allow riders to fine-tune ride height and cant for a more personalized fit, just as our polymer clips do.

Durability was another driving factor. Everyday carry involves sweat, humidity, temperature swings, and constant contact with belts and clothing. Spring steel offers excellent fatigue resistance, meaning the clips maintain their tension over thousands of on-and-off cycles. To protect that steel in real-world conditions, we apply a powder-coated finish. Powder coating creates a tough, uniform layer that resists corrosion, scratching, and the mild salts and oils that come from body contact. It also provides a clean, professional appearance that matches the rest of our holster line and is easy to wipe clean. The coating does not flake or wear through quickly under normal use, so the clips continue looking and performing like new long after lesser finishes would show their age.

Comfort and user experience guided the final details. The clips are shaped to deliver that secure grip. Hardware is included, and installation is straightforward for anyone already familiar with our holster mounting system. Because they are sold in pairs and offered in sizes suited to full-size, compact, and subcompact firearms, they integrate cleanly with the majority of our current lineup.

We did not set out to replace our polymer clips—they remain an excellent lightweight option for many users. Instead, we created the metal belt clips as a purposeful upgrade for those who want maximum retention, especially without a belt, long-term durability, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing their holster will stay exactly where they put it. Whether you are converting an OWB holster for deeper concealment, running a beltless setup, or simply prefer the positive lock of spring steel, these clips were designed for everyday carry (EDC)
At Bravo Concealment, we build gear that performs when it matters. The metal belt clips, made of spring steel and protected by powder coating, are the latest example of that commitment—strong where it counts, refined for daily carry, and ready for whatever your day demands.
