The grip on your handgun is critical. This is important at all times, but it is especially important for armed citizens. Why? Because, unlike a cop, an armed citizen does not have the authority to point a firearm at a potential criminal and issue commands. That is, a police officer has the authority to draw a weapon and issue orders as soon as possible. Armed citizens are legally required to keep their weapon holstered until they believe their lives are in danger. Yes, that stinks, but it's the truth. So, to return to the point of this video, proper handgun grip is critical before it comes up and out.
