Oh boy here we go! This is right up there with the age old question of 9mm vs. ,45 cal. Well just for the record I prefer 9mm, I'll tell you why in a future video. No matter how you look at it, the Glock line of pistols is the world leader in dependability. Once that's been established firmly in your mind, and is well understood, one has to decide on which Glock to carry. If you take caliber out of the equation and make the intelligent choice by going with 9mm you can then focus on which 9mm to go with. After being a G17 aficionado, for many years, I've gone to the G19. Magazine capacity, comfort in carry, concealability, and compatibility with full sized mags makes the G19 a wise choice.

Loved the simplicity of the presentation of G19 versus G17. I began with a Glock 19 29 years ago and kept switching to others trying to find the perfect self-defense handgun, regardless of concealment factors. After purchasing 10 other Glock models and some 1911 style 9mm, I came back around to a Gen 4 Glock 19 (I’ll upgrade soon to the Gen 5 model 19). Why? It simply works and works more reliably than any other gun in the market. That is fact, not emotion. It is ugly to some people but when you pull the trigger it goes bang…everytime. Being the most popular handgun in the world at this writing, there is a holster and magazine holder for every taste. One big question: Can you please share the specifics or a URL regarding the system you were running the Glock 17? I would really appreciate the information. Kind regards, Grant
I enjoyed the G19 vs G17 discussion today and the balance of points made. I wonder if you would mind sharing your thoughts regarding the G19X and how this hybrid strikes you. I realize this will be fairly subjective, but I value WHAT you have to say and the WAY you customarily say things.
The intelligent choice, as you put it, is the caliber that works for you. I, personally, hate the 9mm. I like .40 and the interesting 357sig. Then the 9mm. You really degrade people with your above comment, and in my opinion, lost all credibility you may have had.
