Weekly Vlog - Don't Do New Year Resolutions & Being Selfish

Weekly Vlog of Snaps. No true direction, just talking about a lot of stuff.

Enjoy.

Transcript:

Asking how the Torsion gun holster conceals better than other gun holsters out there is like asking how does a supercharger on a 6.2 liter Hemi engine create 707 horses. I don't know. It just does.

Go out there. Be you. Be yourself. Don't be somebody that other people told you, you had to be. Do you know why relationships between parents and their sons and daughters sometimes break off? This is one of the reasons. There's many, but this is one of them because parents try to live vicariously through their children. By telling them, you gotta do this, you gotta do that, you gotta go to college, you gotta be a doctor, you gotta be a lawyer. And kids don't wanna do that, but they end up doing it, anyways, to please their parents, and then they end up regretting that decision. And then now, they resent their parents for that. Guys, go out there. Be you. Parents, stop living vicariously through your children. All you young people out there, go do you. Be the best you that you can be.

I had forgotten about it until I started getting replies on Snapchat and Instagram and, like, it's called science and...I know, man. I was just messing around.

Hey, Jordan 1s and a Glock 19 in a Torsion gun holster. Yeah. Always red key.

Part of this weekend's orders, man. Look at the dates. Look at the dates. Look at the dates. Look at the dates.

Look at what we got lined up for lunch. Nice. Prepped meals. Yeah, man. That's the way to do it right there.

Oh, look at that sunset. Nice. Beautiful.

Yeah. Dirty 30 Extreme. Crazy, man. Awesome workout. Go out there and do it, guys. Get healthy here. Get healthy here. You can eat right and everything but you still need that cardio, man, and you still need to exercise your heart. Go do it. Don't think about resolutions or anything like that. Just go out there and do it. Resolutions, a lot of people use them as excuses because everybody knows that everybody breaks their resolutions. So they go in there thinking, this is my New Year's resolution, knowing that they are gonna break it because everybody does, anyways. Get away from that. Just go out there and do it. It doesn't matter what time of the year. It doesn't... You don't need a new year to start a new you. Start today. Start now.

Morning, guys. Today's EDC, Glock 19 in a Torsion gun holster. It's all nice and tight, and it fits the body. Single belt configuration. Uh-oh. There we go. Nice. The Hellcat is scaring the Cadi. EDC an appendix carry at the convenience store.

Getting it done here at Bravo, man. So grateful for the help that I have here. No one can do it alone, guys. You need good help and it's very important, so go out there and find really good help. People that you can count on. People that you can trust. It's super important, guys.

A lot of people don't wanna start because they are afraid that they're gonna fail or they're afraid that they're not ready. Guess what? You're never gonna be ready. You're never gonna be ready, man. Charlie Munger said, "We'd rather be approximately right than precisely wrong." Guys, you don't have to be 100%. You can be 50%, 60%. Just do it and don't be afraid to fail. Winners fail, but they don't give up. Guys, being selfish is not always bad. Because being selfish allows you to understand who you really are and in turn, that can pave the way for you to be unselfish.

Guys, people keep asking, hey, man, when are you gonna release this? When are you gonna release that? We're working on it, guys. It takes time because of our process. Now, some of you guys get upset and, "Hey, well, you guys should have this already if you guys have those machines." Well, you guys, so many of you guys don't know how those machines work. You guys don't know about manufacturing. But, listen, I don't expect everybody to buy a holster from Bravo Concealment. I don't. I appreciate those that do buy holsters from us. Great. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, but I don't expect everybody to buy a Bravo Concealment holster. Now again, I appreciate you guys wanting one, but if we don't have it, there's really nothing much we can do, you know. Unless I can wiggle my nose like "Bewitched," and make it appear. There's nothing we can do about it. We're working on it, man. We are.

Hey, guys, today's EDC, Glock 19 in a Torsion gun holster. Look at how easy it goes on and it comes off. Single belt click configuration. Go check it out. Don't miss it. Bravoconcealment.com with free shipping, 30-day money back guarantee, and unlimited lifetime warranty. Guys, no one's doing that for you, man. Try it out for 30 days. We dare you to try it out for 30 days. Go test drive it. Take it to the range. Go roll over on it. If you have a class, go do it. Try it. If you scratch it up, no worries. If you didn't like it, put it back in the box and send it back to us. Your dog sniffs it and doesn't like it, you can send it back. It doesn't matter the reason, you change your mind, send it back. Well, your end goal should be to be victorious, right? Be victorious in concealed carrying. That's where we come in. We're here to help you. Try it out. If you don't like it, send it back. That's easy. We just want to help you reach your end goal, which is to conceal carry on a daily basis. That's it.

I'll be running this at the five o'clock position [inaudible 00:05:48].

I'm working on a new series for the podcast. It's called traffic rant, and so, basically, I was stuck in traffic for a while, and I got off four podcasts, so I'm getting them done today. Go check 'em out. They should be up later today under "The Bravo Audio Show."

Nice and clean, man. Look at that. She looks nice. It looks nice.

I'm going to the dollar store like if I'm walking into an alley in the middle of the night and a Glock 19 in a Torsion gun holster. Why not, man?

Rene has been carrying concealed on a daily basis for over 8 years and has been a CHL (concealed handgun license) holder for more than 20 years. Finding a high interest in firearms for many years, Rene started Bravo because of the “lack of” a good concealed carry holster on the market.

  • It’s ok to be selfish. Because in being selfish you can find out who you really are.
    self·ish
    adjective
(of a person, action, or motive) lacking consideration for others; concerned chiefly with one’s own personal profit or pleasure.

I beg to differ. It shouldn’t take a person being selfish/self-centered/self-serving/self-absorbed to figure out who they are. Unless at their core they are a selfish, self-centered, self-serving individual. Self or internal reflection, self-inventory, self-assessment does not require a person to be selfish. It just means they are honest with who they are. That they don’t redirect blame for mistakes, that they look at the decisions and actions they performed and come to the ground truth at what was the motivation behind those. Find the deficiency and adjust fire. Correct the problem and execute again. Lather, rinse, repeat until you’ve worked out those self-adulating tendencies that place others constantly before yourself. (oneself as I’m not talking to anyone specific.)

One of the greatest motivators for a soldier to succeed is when he realizes that he’s not doing this or that for himself but for the man beside him. For his Brother (or Sister). As a generalization, every wrong decision and mostly every person I’ve hurt has been a result of me wanting to satisfy myself and was made without any consideration for those around me, and those who love me.
I’d rather find what I’m made of by what I can sacrifice. Not by what I can gain through selfish ambition.
    But that’s just me.
