Most gun users do perfectly fine without optics on their handguns. But for Abner Miranda, perfectly fine can be a little boring, so he finally bit the bullet (so to speak) and tested the RMR 04 with a 7moa dot. The fiber optics create a well-defined dot that can be visible from multiple distances and under a wide range of lighting conditions.
