It's kind of frightening that after 59 classes some of this stuff has just now become truly crystal clear for me. Just watch. While attending Handgun IV-V at Tactical Defense Institute in Ohio I came to the understanding of some things that I always knew but had never really "gotten." TDI has a very methodical way of teaching handgun skills, and if you spend enough time studying the handgun you too will have these "aha moments" too. Why the handgun? Because the handgun is a very cerebral weapon, it requires a great deal of attention to the details to reach proficiency. Once you reach that proficiency you are then locked in for life, because it will require a constant investment of time, at least monthly, to maintain a base line of proficiency.
