If you want to minimize the amount of recoil you experience from your handgun, try these two tips. First, create a gas pedal cut along the side of your gun. This will give your thumb a shelf to rest on while shooting and prevent the upward drive of your weapon. Second, lean into your shot. Exerting control over your gun in this way can mitigate recoil.
