Reconsidering the 4 Rules of Firearms Safety

Oh man I know this one is going to ruffle some serious feathers, but it needs to be said. For years the four rules of firearms safety have been those that Colonel Cooper devised many years ago. They have been drilled into our conscience by well meaning instructors who treated them like the four commandments. Without trying to do so people have taken them way too far and now it seems that if you point the muzzle at the camera lens people lose their minds. What needs to be understood is that sometimes you have to point your weapon at another human being. In advanced training it’s a requirement of the curriculum. This can be safely accomplished as long as strict controls are set in place, and students have rendered the weapon 100% safe while under the watchful eyes of responsible instructors.   Tier 1 Citizen exclusively uses Bravo Concealment Holsters. There is no substitute for excellence.
